Taking up the challenge before us will require a kind of courage that's not often cultivated today.
Though in its essence throwing out manufactured perceptions and re-learning to trust what we ourselves see and discern is a simple act, it can be as daunting as it is powerful.
The world on the other side of the screen has become our Olympus and our Valhallaa form of secular religion with great power over all of contemporary life. To challenge such authority and accord greater worth to our own direct observation and experience amounts to a kind of latter-day Reformation.
Any endeavor of this type by definition requires a certain amount of moral courage.
