We should question what today's MBA programs are really accomplishing.

Somewhere along the line, we ought to collectively question whether it’s healthy to be cranking out as many MBAs as we do. After all, the graduates of the top business schools currently tend to go disproportionately into investment banking and management consulting—two of the areas that do most to virtualize business and put it into its contemporary dissociative state.

We should be asking ourselves if this is really the kind of “elite” we want to cultivate.

At the very least, aren’t there maybe some other kinds of things that we should be teaching them?
