Well, I had to admit, he had a point there.

When he was gone, I sat down and began scribbling.  Page after page.  I was going to be heard from.

As I finished, I looked up and saw that my wife’s eyes were softly imploring me.  "Please, Honey," she said, "no more of this."

"What do you mean, no more?" I sputtered.  "This is what’s going to stop it.  This is the power of democracy in action!  This is a letter to our Congressman!"

"I know, Dear," she said.  She smiled compassionately while choosing her words.

"But what makes you think they haven’t put a user fee on that?"
