What's with all the criticality?
by Robert Winter

Why do you have to be so all-fired critical? Why do you have to complain so much?

I hate it when people complain. I hate it when people criticize. I hate it when people whine.

Complain, criticize, whine. I see it on TV. I hear it on the radio. I read it in the newspapers. I can't get away from it. It drives me nuts. I mean, I'm trying to be upbeat, I'm trying to be positive. But does anybody care about that? Does anybody care about me?

Nooo, not about me. No way! Themselves, maybe. Their bank accounts, maybe; or their rotten kids and superficial spouses; or their fancy clothes and cars. Maybe they even care about their precious highblown hypocritical ideals. But care about me? Hah!

Let me tell you something about complainers: they're all you ever run into nowadays. You can't get away from them. You try to stay positive, you try to think of nice things, but will they ever let you? Do they even think about you? Hah!

All they ever think about is complaining. Complain, complain, complain. Criticize, criticize, criticize. Whine, whine, whine. It makes me sick.
