The critics agree, it was a great performance--a sellout gig with an absolutely stunning light show, involving a cast of thousands. A hugely expensive pyrotechnics display that would put the Rolling Stones to shame. And except for a little bit of crowd trouble (which the U.S .Marine "bouncers" are still dealing with), it all went just as the promoters planned.
Shame, though, that they couldn't get a handle on that ticket tout Saddam, who was supposedly hoarding really dodgy drugs. You know the ones? No, not LSD--WMD!
Yesterday Afghanistan, today Iraq, tomorrow Syria: the Bush and Rumsfeld band are preparing for the next leg of their "Democracy is Good" World Tour. Better hurry up and get your tickets. This road show's going to be a blast! (Oh, sorry--excuse the pun.)
