Artist's Notes

Along with the gnarled tree in Porterville, I consider this one of my more successful ventures into the technique of splotchillism.

There’s also something of a “secret garden” feel to the scene, even though it’s a commercial nursery.  (It’s what’s over the fence from where I live.)
