Gaius' Nephew
Gaius Aurelius Cotta’s sister Aurelia gave birth to a kid via an unusual intervention that has since become a standard part of OB-GYN medicine. This little boy is much better known today than Aurelia's brother.
We now call him Julius Caesar.  His full
name was
actually Gaius Julius Caesar.
Unfortunately, as I began to read about him, I
didn’t see much evidence in him of Cotta-style strength of
character.  He seemed to mainly be good at acquiring power for
himself.
And as I learned about his rivalry and later, outright armed conflict with Pompey, I personally found Pompey to be the better man.
