Artist's Notes

As a former resident of Duarte, I’ve spent a lot of time on this bike path—walking, sometimes running, and mainly rollerblading. 

I’ve always found something intriguing in the bridge, and the way the path passes through it.

This painting was also a significant step for me on the road to using bigger brushes and a freer style.
